മൈസൂരുവിന് സമീപം നഞ്ചൻകോട്ട് കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ബസ്സിന് തീപിടിച്ചു. യാത്രക്കാര്‍ തലനാരിഴയ്ക്ക് രക്ഷപെട്ടു. ബെംഗളൂരുവിൽ നിന്ന് കോഴിക്കോട്ടേക്ക് വരികയായിരുന്ന സ്വിഫ്റ്റ് ഡീലക്സ് ബസിനാണ് തീ പിടിച്ചത്. 

പുലർച്ചെ രണ്ടു മണിയോടെ ബസ് നഞ്ചൻകോട് എത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് തീപടരുന്നത് ഡ്രൈവറുടെ ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍പ്പെട്ടത്. ഈ സമയം യാത്രക്കാർ ഉറക്കത്തിലായിരുന്നു. തീ പടരുന്നതായി ശ്രദ്ധയിൽപ്പെട്ടതോടെ ഡ്രൈവറും കണ്ടക്ടറും യാത്രക്കാരെ അതിവേഗം പുറത്തിറക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

KL 15 A 2444 എന്ന സ്വിഫ്റ്റ് ബസ് ആണ് കത്തിയത്. ബസിൽ 44 യാത്രക്കാരാണ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. എല്ലാവരും സുരക്ഷിതരാണ്. ബസ് പൂർണമായും കത്തി നശിച്ചു.

ENGLISH SUMMARY:

A KSRTC Swift Deluxe bus travelling from Bengaluru to Kozhikode caught fire near Nanjangud, close to Mysuru. The incident occurred around 2 a.m., with flames first noticed in the front section of the bus. All 44 passengers were asleep at the time but managed to escape after spotting the fire. Quick action by the passengers helped avert a major tragedy. The bus, bearing registration number KL 15 A 2444, was completely destroyed. No injuries were reported, and all passengers are confirmed safe.
