A heartbreaking incident occurred in Kozhikode, where a three-year-old boy was fatally hit by a school van in front of his mother. The victim, Uwais, was the son of Muneer from Manipuram, Koduvalli. The accident took place yesterday evening in front of their house. Just two days after his father Muneer left for abroad, the tragedy unfolded before the eyes of his mother. Uwais had accompanied his mother to pick up his sister studying in UKG. In a tragic moment, the boy slipped away from his mother’s hand and ran in front of the school van. The driver failed to notice him and accidentally drove over the child.
