ബാബു എം.പാലിശേരി അന്തരിച്ചു. കുന്നംകുളം മുന് എംഎല്എയും സിപിഎം നേതാവുമാണ്. 2006ലും 2011ലും കുന്നംകുളം മണ്ഡലത്തെ നിയമസഭയിൽ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ചു. സിപിഎം കുന്നംകുളം ഏരിയ സെക്രട്ടറി ആയിരുന്നു. ഡിവൈഎഫ്ഐ സംസ്ഥാന വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റായും പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു. കുന്നംകുളം കടവല്ലൂർ സ്വദേശിയാണ്. സിപിഎം തൃശൂർ ജില്ല മുൻ സെക്രട്ടേറിയറ്റ് അംഗമായിരുന്നു.
ബാബു എം.പാലിശേരിയുടെ നിര്യാണത്തില് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയനും സ്പീക്കര് എ.എന്.ഷംസീറും അനുശോചിച്ചു.

Former Kunnamkulam MLA and CPM leader Babu M. Palissery has passed away. He represented the Kunnamkulam constituency in the Kerala Legislative Assembly in 2006 and 2011. He also served as the CPM Kunnamkulam Area Secretary and as the State Vice President of DYFI. A native of Kadavallur in Kunnamkulam, he was also a former member of the CPM Thrissur district secretariat.
