തിരുവനന്തപുരം വെഞ്ഞാറമൂട്ടില് ധാന്യം പൊടിക്കുന്ന മില്ലിലെ യന്ത്രത്തില് ഷാള് കുടുങ്ങി ജീവനക്കാരിക്ക് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം. കാരേറ്റ് പുളിമാത്ത് സ്വദേശിനി ബീനയാണ് തലയ്ക്ക് സാരമായി പരുക്കേറ്റ് മരിച്ചത്. ധാന്യം പൊടിക്കുന്നതിനിടയില് ബിന്ദുവിന്റെ ഷാള് യന്ത്രത്തില് കുടുങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു. കൂടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മറ്റ് രണ്ട് ജീവനക്കാര്ക്കും ബീനയെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്താനായില്ല. ബീനയുടെ മൃതദേഹം തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെഡിക്കല് കോളജിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.
