കോഴിക്കോട് ഓമശ്ശേരിയിൽ നാലാം ക്ലാസ് വിദ്യാർഥി പുഴയിൽ മുങ്ങി മരിച്ചു. പത്തുവയസ്സുകാരന്‍ മുഹമ്മദ്‌ ഫസീഹാണ് മരിച്ചത്. വെളിമണ്ണ ജിഎംയുപി സ്കൂൾ നാലാം ക്ലാസ്സ് വിദ്യാർഥിയാണ് ഫസീഹ്.
ഇന്നലെ കൂട്ടുകാര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം കളിക്കാൻ പോയ കുട്ടി രാത്രിയായിട്ടും തിരിച്ചെത്താത്തതിനെ തുടർന്ന് നടത്തിയ തിരച്ചിലിലാണ് മൃതദേഹം പുഴയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഇരുതുള്ളി പുഴയിൽ വെളിമണ്ണ പാലത്തിനടുത്തു നിന്നാണ് മൃതദേഹം കിട്ടിയത്. വെളിമണ്ണ ആലത്തുകാവിൽ മുഹമ്മദ്‌ ഷാഫിയുടെയും ഫൈറൂസയുടെയും മകനാണ്. സഹോദരന്‍ മുഹമ്മദ്‌ അബാൻ.
