കോഴിക്കോട് യുവതിക്ക് നേരെ ലൈംഗികാതിക്രമം നടത്തിയ യുവാവ് പിടിയില്‍. കണ്ണൂര്‍ മയ്യില്‍ സ്വദേശി പ്രണവ് ആണ് പിടിയിലായത്. കഴി‍ഞ്ഞ മാസം 12ന് യുവതിയെ ഹോട്ടലില്‍ എത്തിച്ച ഇയാള്‍ ലൈംഗികമായി ഉപദ്രവിക്കുകയും, കൊലപ്പെടുത്താന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തെന്നാണ് പരാതി. പ്രണവിനെതിരെ കണ്ണൂരില്‍ വിവാഹ വാഗ്ദാനം നല്‍കി പീഡിപ്പിച്ചതിനും, ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി പണവും സ്വര്‍ണവും തട്ടിയെടുത്ത കേസും നിലവിലുണ്ട്. കോടതിയില്‍ ഹാജരാക്കിയ പ്രതിയെ റിമാന്‍ഡ് ചെയ്തു.
