കോഴിക്കോട് വടകര  പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെ എസ് ഐക്കും എ എസ് ഐക്കും പ്രതിയുടെ മര്‍ദനം.എസ്. ഐ രഞ്ജിത്തിന്‍റെ തലയ്ക്ക് അടിക്കുകയും എ.എസ്.ഐ  ഗണേഷിനെ കടിക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു പ്രതി.വീട്ടമ്മയെയും കുഞ്ഞിനെയും തട്ടികൊണ്ടു പോകാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ച കേസിലെ പ്രതി സജീഷാണ് പൊലീസിനെ ആക്രമിച്ചത്.

ഇന്നലെ ഉച്ചയോടെ വടകരയിലെ  ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പോകാനായാണ് വില്യാപള്ളി സ്വദേശിനിയായ 28 കാരി, കുഞ്ഞുമായി സജീഷിന്‍റെ ഓട്ടോയില്‍ കയറിയത്.എന്നാല്‍ ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് പോകാതെ അപരിചിതമായ വഴികളിലൂടെ കൊണ്ടു പോയതോടെ യുവതി ബഹളം വച്ചു.ഇതോടെ ആയഞ്ചേരിയിലെ ആളൊഴിഞ്ഞ സ്ഥലത്ത് വച്ച് 

യുവതിയെ ഇറക്കി വിട്ടതായാണ് പരാതി.സജീഷിനെ തേടി രാത്രിയില്‍ പൊലീസ് പാനൂരിലെ വീട്ടിലെത്തിയപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു ആക്രമണം.എസ് ഐ രഞ്ജിത്തിന്‍റെ തലയ്ക്ക് അടിക്കുകയും എ എസ് ഐ ഗണേഷിനെ കടിക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു പ്രതി.ഇരുവരുടെയും പരുക്ക് ഗുരുതരമല്ല,ആക്രമാസക്തനായ പ്രതിയെ കീഴ്പെടുത്തിയാണ് പൊലീസ് വടകര സ്റ്റേഷനിലെത്തിച്ചത്.തട്ടികൊണ്ടുപോകാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചതിനും പൊലീസിനെ ആക്രമിച്ചതിനും സജീഷിനെതിരെ കേസ് എടുത്ത് അറസ്റ്റ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി.

In Vadakara, Kozhikode, a suspect named Sajeesh attacked police officers, hitting an SI (Sub-Inspector) Ranjith on the head and biting an ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector) Ganesh. Sajeesh was being apprehended in connection with an attempted kidnapping case involving a 28-year-old woman and her child. The woman reported that Sajeesh, an auto driver, drove her and her child to an unfamiliar, deserted location instead of the hospital she requested, prompting her to raise an alarm. Police located Sajeesh at his home in Panoor last night, where the assault on the officers occurred. Both officers sustained minor injuries, and Sajeesh was subdued and taken to Vadakara police station. He has been arrested and charged with attempted kidnapping and assaulting police officers.
